Dutch Touring Car Championship desires to become international

The Dutch Sporting Authority KNAF sent an application to the FIA with the aim to acquire an international status for the Dutch Touring Car Championship.

An unanimous initiative of the DTCC drivers, teams and the promotor caused the Dutch ASN to ask the FIA to grant an international status to the DTCC. Catalyst for this interesting move is the on going enhancement of professionalism of this Royal Class of the motorsports in the Netherlands.
This new policy will be launched as of the first race during Eastern at the track of Zandvoort (The Netherlands), subject to FIA approval.
To achieve this higher international standard, the following actions will be implemented:
